Conceived in Sweden in 2021, LILLIUM – Imperfect Nature is an ongoing research and creative development initiative exploring the relationship between Swedish botanical heritage, nature, memory and material transformation.

Through botanical research, material experimentation and interdisciplinary creative processes, the project investigates new ways of connecting natural heritage, contemporary design, artistic innovation and cultural dialogue.

Publicly launched in Sweden in 2024, LILLIUM continues to evolve as a long-term platform for research, creative exploration and knowledge transfer.
